‘Little Hanging Drawing II’ continues Jared Ginsburg’s exploration into alternate line making. Made using steel, rubber, and plastic objects and gravity as base materials, these works hover somewhere between drawing and sculpture. In this version, an edition of 18 made specially for Bad Paper, the three elements are lyrically arranged within a free-standing wooden frame. Suspended by wire, Ginsburg turns these pieces into marks, using the air between them as negative space.
